Together, we aim to transform lives and build brighter futures.

For over 15 years, the Nicaraguan Medical Mission has delivered vital medical and dental care to more than 20,000 underserved individuals across Nicaragua. Founded in 2008, our mission is to provide high-quality healthcare services to indigent populations, offering care with compassion and dignity.

The Nicaraguan Medical Mission is a non-profit organization composed of dedicated volunteer doctors, nurses, health professionals, educators, and students from high schools and colleges. Once a year, over the course of one week, our volunteers work tirelessly to bring much-needed medical assistance to those who lack access to care.

From its humble beginnings with 9 volunteers serving a few hundred patients, the mission has grown significantly, reaching nearly 1,600 patients in its dedicated week, and an average of 50 volunteers from the United States and 20 volunteers from Nicaragua.

Services include medical care, prenatal check-ups, dental hygiene, diabetes education, and medication management. Volunteers also contribute to building repairs at La Mascota, the Children’s Cancer Hospital, and engage in impactful community activities such as Vacation Bible School, crafting lessons for local women to help them generate income, and haircuts and beauty sessions to boost self-esteem.

Together, we aim to transform lives and build brighter futures. Your contributions directly support essential medical and dental supplies, enabling us to continue this life-changing work. Join us in making a difference!
