About Us

The Nicaraguan Medical Mission is a non-profit organization comprised of volunteer doctors, nurses, other health professionals, teachers, high school and college students, providing medical care to indigent patients in Nicaragua once a year, over a one week period. It has grown from servicing a few hundred patients with 9 volunteers to almost 1,600 patients with 84 volunteers in 2017. The mission is in its 9th year of service which allows these volunteers to come together to give of their time and expertise in medical care, prenatal care/checkup, dental hygiene, medication management, diabetes awareness, VBS, and building repairs at the Children's Cancer Hospital, La Mascota. The mission also provides rudimentary skills in craft making for the local women, in order to provide them with the ability to earn a little extra money, as well as haircuts and beauty lessons to boost self-esteem. Together we will transform lives and build brighter futures. The contributions you make will help with much needed medical and dental hygiene supplies.

Carry each other's burdens, and in this way fulfill the law of Christ
